We want our customers to be happy and satisfied with our dahlia tubers. Please contact us immediately if you have questions or concerns about the tubers you receive. Keep in mind that tubers come out of dormancy at different
times and the eyes may be hard to see at first. We guarantee that your tubers will have at least one viable eye and are correctly named. Replacement tubers, if needed, will be issued the following year.
All tubers will be shipped USPS in April.
Your tubers should be planted as soon as you receive them, but we all know that things happen. If you can’t plant right away, store tubers in a dark, cool place and leave them in the packing material that they came in.
Dahlias should be put in the ground after your last frost. Dahlias also do well in containers, so you could plant them in a pot and keep them inside until after your last frost.
Dahlias are a cut and come again flower. What this means is that the more flowers you cut, the more the plant produces. Dahlias will keep producing flowers until your first frost.
Stems should be cut directly above a leaf joint at an angle.
